Your tour starts at the Dunn’s River Falls first thing in the morning to avoid the huge Cruise Ship crowds. We try to arrange all tours to get you away from the masses as much as possible. That is why we have so many happy Clients who never regret booking our tours.
You’ll follow a stairway & path that leads down to the base of the Falls on the beach. This is where the adventure begins for those who wish to climb the falls, for anyone not up to the challenge of climbing the falls, spectacular sights & views are worth the trip alone. You are required to wear (Aquamarine) water shoes. If you don’t bring your own they can be rented or bought. You may wish to climb the falls with or without a guide and this depends on your comfort level and ability. Climbing the Falls is a wet but easily navigable ascent and is quite exhilarating as you’re showered with cool water all the way to the top (approximately 45 minutes) The Guides are excellent and give you confidence by supporting you to accomplish this journey.
At several points along the way of the adjoining path you can easily access the River where you will enjoy the cool pulsating flow of water over your body in the Jamaican sun. This is a one of a kind exhilarating massage from the River. As you climb there are seven photographers available to capture all your special moments.Dunn’s River Falls also has a Craft Village and concessions such as Blue Mountain Coffee, hair braiding and Baskin and Robins
Next your guide will take you around Ocho Rios spectacular country side, you can take in sights as you drive through a local neighborhood and Fern Gully, next enjoy panoramic views of your Cruise Ship Port, then visit the Coyaba River Garden (optional) and be exposed to Jamaica’s beautiful flora and fauna before returning to town for shopping.
Our Guides will allow for many opportunities during the excursion to take Photos and are open to suggestions & requests you may have. All excursions are designed to be flexible and caters to all your groups wishes.
Your excursion ends with shopping in the heart of Town where you can explore the local Craft Market or indulge in the duty free shopping centres. You may even wish to end your tour at the Island Village Shopping Centre where you may visit Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville and Restaurant which is an Ocho Rios favorite and walking distance from your Cruise Ship Port.
