In these northern Jamaican waters, we have caught a great variety of fish throughout the year. We have landed great Blue Marlins not too far from the Ocho Rios beach just beyond the reef, this is because there is a drop off here of 500 yards from the shore.

Below is a list of of fishes with the most likely time of year that they can be caught:

Barracudas and Kingfish - all year long

Big Blue Marlin (400lbs-500lbs) - May to June

Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin and smaller Blue Marlins (120-250lbs) - August to December

We take the business of Sport Deep Sea fishing very seriously and offer fishing from three different boats to satisfy the needs of all. We have a 32 ft. Boston Waller deluxe boat, 38 ft. Pacemaker deluxe boat and 53 ft. luxurious Hatterras boat.

Once aboard you will be greeted by the crew and head out to sea for fishing, just beyond the Ocho Rios reef within 5-10 minutes away, no time is wasted, the lines are dropped and we start trolling for great catches. Your crew will have up to six lines in the water at a time while trolling, this maximizes your chances of landing that great big one!. The crew will also assist you with baiting the lines and your experienced captain and crew work together looking for signs of good fishing spots, once we have a strike you will be allowed to site in the chair and real in your BIG catch!

All of our boat charters come fully equipped with gears and your very own well seasoned captain and crew member. There is also a head on each vessel. The boats all come equipped with Pen international 50w's and Tiagra 50w's rods and fishing is done with 50lb or 60lb test lines - the best! We carry a wide assortment of artificial baits along with pipes or long Jaws. Complimentary bottled water and beer is provided as well, if you need an extra case of beer or a special request please let us know in advance so we can arrange this.

We offer charters to visitors coming on a cruise and also to guests staying in a villa or Resort in the Ocho Rios area. If you would like to reserve a fishing trip, please book early in advance as the boats can be booked up for weeks in advance sometimes.

• For cruise ship passengers arriving at the U.D.C. cruise ship pier, your boat trip starts at the Ocho Rios Marina which is walking distance from your cruise ship. If you are arriving at the Reynolds Pier, our guides will meet you and take you to the to the boat at the Ocho Rios Marina. 
• In addition, we also offer complimentary pick up from any hotel or villa within 6 miles of the Ocho Rios Marina.
• Our deep sea fishing charters comes fully equip with fishing equipment, a head on all boats, Captain and crew as well as complimentary refreshments (sodas and water).
• Special request can be made for additional snacks or beverages prior to your boat trip at an additional cost.
