Dunn’s River Falls without a doubt is the most popular and spectacular tourist attraction in Ocho Rios and one of Jamaica’s natural treasures. It has a truly breathtaking setting, incredible cascading falls, that refreshes, challenge and delight visitors of all ages. Only a 15 minutes drive from town, Dunn’s River Falls is internationally known as a living-growing phenomenon consisting of 600 feet cascading waterfall with several natural pools surrounded by dense forestry. You’ll follow a stairway & path that leads down to the base of the Falls on the beach. This is where the adventure begins for those who wish to climb the falls, for anyone not up to the challenge of climbing the falls, spectacular sights & views are worth the trip alone. You are required to wear (Aquamarine) water shoes. If you don’t bring your own they can be rented or bought. You may wish to climb the falls with or without a guide and this depends on your comfort level and ability. Climbing the Falls is a wet but easily navigable ascent and is quite exhilarating as you’re showered with cool water all the way to the top (approximately 45minutes) The guides are excellent and give you confidence by supporting you to accomplish this journey.

At several points along the way of the adjoining path you can easily access the River where you will enjoy the cool pulsating flow of water over your body in the Jamaican sun. This is a one of a kind exhilarating massage from the River. As you climb, there are seven photographers available to capture all your special moments.

Next, your Guide will take you through a local neighborhood & Fern Gully, One of Jamaica’s natural wonders. A scenic three-mile uphill tour that winds through a rocky gorge, the gully has about 500 varieties of ferns overhung by tall trumpet and Blue Mahoe trees that meet overhead filtering the sunlight to create a cool rain forest condition in a tinged tunnel. This moist sheltered environment is ideal for ferns and has sub tropical Rain Forest conditions. Street vendors along the road sell carvings and T-shirts for souvenir lovers. At the top of the gully you drive into the local community of Colgate then through the community of Breadnut Hill with spectacular views of Ocho Rios and the coastline.

Where not finished yet! Next, it’s off to the White River for River Tubing.

Your Tubing adventure begins about two miles in land. There are changing rooms, bathrooms and life jackets available at the start of your tour. You will pass through seven rapids as you go down stream to the midway stop, where you can drink a cold beer, swim or enjoy a complimentary fruit punch. Bathroom facilities are available as well.

Take in the amazing scenery as you glide through lush tropical greenery going gently down the lazy River. You won’t forget this journey. Your driver meets you at the end of your ride where you may spend a couple minutes shopping for local crafts at the craft centre.

Our tubing adventure last for approximately 1hour and15 minutes depending on the time spent at the midway stop. You are provided with two Guides on this tour who lead groups of 5-15 persons at a time. As a rule though we generally provide one guide for every 5 tubes.

Our Guides will allow for many opportunities during the excursion to take Photos and are open to suggestions & requests you may have. All excursions are designed to be flexible and cater to all your groups’ wishes.

Your excursion ends as we take you back to your Cruise Ship or to the Hard Rock Café and Jimmy Buffet’s Margarita Ville which are both walking distance from your Cruise Ship Pier. You May do some shopping and have a drink and go down the pool slide at Margarita Ville before returning to your ship.
